Your first visit, made simple

A little preparation makes your first appointment smooth. Here's what to expect and what to bring.

What to bring

  • Photo ID
  • Insurance card
  • Any referral or doctor's notes, if you have them (not always required)
  • Recent imaging or surgery details, if relevant
  • A list of medications
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in

What the visit looks like

Your first appointment is an evaluation. Your therapist reviews your history, watches how you move, and talks through your goals — then, in most cases, you begin your plan the same day. Plan for about 45 to 60 minutes.

Bring your questions. Understanding your plan is part of getting better.

Insurance & referrals

We accept most major insurance plans and Medicare. Under Mississippi's 2024 direct access law, many patients can start therapy without a physician referral. Some insurance plans still require one for coverage, so we verify your benefits before your first visit — at no cost to you.

Insurance we accept

Check whether we're in-network with your plan. Don't see yours? We'll still verify your benefits — many plans are covered.

Patient forms

New patient paperwork will be available to download and complete before your visit, so check-in is quick. Ask the front desk if you'd like forms emailed ahead of time.
